It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear brother, David. First child born to Brian and Joyce Jobling in Coventry, England, and moving to Pointe Claire, Quebec at the age of 7. In Quebec, David attended John Rennie High School (1973), Lower Canada College (69-71) and Bishops University, before moving to Toronto in 1980, and finally settling in the Bayview & Eglinton area. David will always be remembered for his quick wit, incredible sense of humour and brilliant mind. His passion for literature and music (60’s and 70’s rock), only surpassed by his love and devotion to his dogs, were clearly evident to all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his brother Peter (Brenda), sister’s Sally (O’Shea) and Anne-Marie (Tice) (Kevin), as well as his nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Rest in peace, dear brother. You were loved more than you will ever know.
A celebration of life will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Friday, May 5th at 1:00 p.m. Family can be reached through firstname.lastname@example.org.
