Friday, August 18, 2017I have known Paul since my first summer at Trophy Lodge in 1997. During that first trip I quickly learned that he had a passion, respect and care for Great Bear Lake. Paul was a great guide and an advocate for the fish and water. Sir Paul, will be fondly remembered. Many stories and much reminiscing will carry his memory forward. Rest Well Paul

Monday, August 14, 2017Paul will long be rembered on the Bear. A true legend on northern waters. Spent 15 seasons guiding with Sir Paul and his love of the north and guiding kept him going. We'll celebrate Paul's memory this summer up on the Bear.

Monday, August 14, 2017Paul was indeed a quiet, gentle soul, and a giant among guides and fisherman alike on Great Bear Lake. I can still see Paul speeding across the water wearing only a t-shirt and sweat shirt that had more holes than shirt, while the rest of us were bundled up in parkas. He was as tough as they came. Rest in peace Paul, fishing the Bear will never be the same without you.
